Bloodwood - a deep burgandy wood from South America. Makes a beautiful finish similar to antique cherry.   Bubinga - a dense African hardwood with rich color & beautiful figure. Color ranges from light red to violet with fine dark grain.   Cocobolo - An exceptional dense African wood with deep brown or black grain and red or burgandy wood. My personal favorite.   Ebony - these handles are dark black with only an occasional brown streak. These polish very nicely and feel like glass in your hand.                       Jatoba - a medium dark wood with mixtures of deep red and gold. Also know as Brazilian Cherry.   Olive Wood - from ancient trees in the Holy Land is both rare and beautiful. Blanks are cut from the prunings of live trees then hand selected for figure and color.   Walnut - a moderately dense North American Wood.
